- Tasty- The human body is comprised of approximately 70% of water. Maintaining adequate hydration is vital for maintaining proper bodily processes such as adequate kidney function, bowel motility, body temperature regulation, and skin maintenance. Adding natural flavors to plain water, as seen in fruit-infused water, can make drinking water much more enjoyable throughout the day to encourage optimal hydration.
- All-Natural- Fruit-infused water utilizes all natural whole fruits and vegetables for flavor. Unlike most commercialized flavored waters, fruit-infused water has no low calorie sweeteners, or artificial chemicals that could negatively affect the body. Additionally, it does not contain any added sugars, and is therefore a healthier alternative to other sugary beverages like sodas or juices.
- Immune-Boosting –Antioxidants are nutrients found mostly in fruits and vegetables that fight free radicals which cause oxidative damage to our bodies and immune systems. By consuming fruit-infused water, the antioxidants from the fruit will help the body defend against free radicals and boost immunity, especially in the winter season.
